2019 started off with a bang for Lex, when he completed a 16-hour poker grind culminating in a Sunday Warm-Up victory over Jonathan ‘proudflop’ Proudfoot for $34,690.

Lex spent several years living in Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, but in September 2018 made the move back to the Netherlands to settle down with his girlfriend, Mythre. In October 2018, while in the United States for TwitchCon and Run It Up Reno, Lex collapsed on the street due primarily to exhaustion, stress, and fatigue. In November 2018, he proposed to his long-time girlfriend.
